Anyone have any info on how to wire a horn into my 93 xr600? I got an old horn off an xl350. If I were wiring a house, I would find a feed and run it to a switch then run from there to horn. Is it a similar deal with motorcycle wiring? I'm trying to get the bike plated, so need a horn. Thanks

I took a horn off of an old DT400 I had and wired it in but the switch was already there on my BD kit.

The XR600's alternator will not have enough butt to blow the horn. It will work if you replace the voltage regulator with a 12V regulator/rectifier and wire in a battery to act as a ballast.
