On my brothers YZ 450 (2003) I broke off the little tab on the top of the hot start plunger. We got a new one but I'm afraid there must have been some type of spring that got misplaced, because the hot start thumb lever wont spring back and the bike runs like crap when we have the plunger in place. The plunger is probable staying opened and letting too much air in. But can someone tell me if there is a spring that goes on top of the plunger?
