Hi all,
I have a 2000 yz 426 and the cylinder is slightly out of spec .
The specs from Yamaha are 95 mm to 95.01mm i had mine measured and it came in at 95.02mm the cylinder surface is in excellent condition with no scoring what so ever.
So my question is can i just put in a brand new piston pin , piston and rings?. Also all other associated parts are in spec.

Bear in mind i am only a twice a month rider for a few hours through the bush and a cylinder in australia costs $550.00.
Thankyou :ride:

So your saying that you are .01mm out? Come on that really is nothing. Is that all that is wrong with it? Do you have a problem with the Piston?
