Anyone know where I can purchase turn signals, headlight, and anything else that would be needed to make my bike street legal? I was just wondering in case I ever do make it street legal. Thanks.

Ha, your funny. I notice your from NJ. You think your going to title a 2 stroke? Even if it was a KXF, you still wouldnt be able to do it. Dont bother wasting your time...................................................
Was good for a laugh though, thanks.

Actually I just moved to Kansas. My question wasnt asking if I could make my KX street legal for NJ....
Thanks for that laugh though.

does your kx even have a lighting coil? will it power lights? it the wheelbase long enough to meet state requirements? i think you're wasting your time trying to license it... save the money you'd spend on a DS kit and buy a chinese 200cc enduro

They make lighting coils for KXs, I have plated a KX500 here in wyoming for awhile, it was fun. Make sure kansas requires turn signals and such, you may only need a headlight and tailight/mirror if Kansas is an easy state like ours.

his KX80 generates more and better power then them.. Your KX is not the way to go, but there are options when your ready... and more to come, as in more bikes will be hitting the market

Seriously, look for an old Honda XL250. You could probably find an '80s XL for less hassle and money than you can trying to mess with the coil issues, the lighting issues, the wiring issues, AND the DMV issues (titling an untitled, out-of-state dirt bike?!... goodluck!). PLUS you put gas in the XL and go! No dealing with premix... you won't believe how sweet that is! No... seriously.
