Well after riding back from Charlotte in the truck I was driving I noticed the running lights on my Dad's new Goldwing. I decided that I needed to put running lights on the front turn signals of my Xr650r. I have a Baja Designs kit on my bike. I searched Ebay for all that I could find for some three wire turn signals. I had to go to the Honda dealer to pick up my parts for my blown head gasket. I managed to find some K&S turn signals that have running lights. I tested the lights out with a battery that I had lying around. Just running the running lights I was blinded by their brightness. Then putting the turn signals lights on they were a heck of a lot brighter. Having the Baja kit makes it easier to install the running lights. I just tapped into the running light on the headlight. I am going to rewind my stator for more output so that I can run all the lights I have on board. I have three lights in the back. I have the Edge 2 taillight and the Phanthom. I am also running the stock light also. I really don't want to be rear ended. I am checking with the State Police to see if I can run a flashing white strobe light also.
