Excessive Noise following Metal Bashplate

Fitted a new metal bash plate to my XRR today only to find the resultant resinance is horrendous! anyone else had this problem? it actually sounds like the engines now running without oil!! :excuseme:

Sounds like your engine is going to detonate at any second sending shrapnel everywhere? Yep - perfectly normal. Don't worry about it.

If ya loosen all the bolts, and wedge a strip of rubber between the bash plate and the frame, at the weld on each side, then tighten all your bolts-no problemo.

Just did mine today! :bonk:
