electric start on 426 help

i want to know if you can put one on a 426 :applause:

You could but it would cost a small fortune and it would be alot of work.... The YZ426 cases are not machined for a starter, so you would have to pull the motor, split the cases and bring them to a machine shop. Not really worth the headache. You could always add the YZ450 cam to ease your starting.

Don't forget to add the 450 cam conversion to the parts list since the starter can't spin the engine without it.
