vent hose leakage normal?

on my 06 the vent that comes from the valve cover has a small amount of oil that comes out of it that gets on my frame after i ride it real hard. this is my first 4 stroke so i was wondering if its normal. thanks

It's because you overfilled your oil when you filled it; don't worry about it, it's just overflow, thats why the hose is there.
