Is it common for this bike to have a knock when it is idling? It sounds like the rod is knocking. Anyone else experience this?

Mine does it too. Like a knock or a tick. There was a thread on this before. Maybe try a search. If I remember correctly GrayRacer answered the question and explained why it is normal.

Stop trolling the blue forums looking for trouble. Dont you have valves to check every 15 min. or something? :ride:

Hey David,
Things are good, I love the 250F. I am much faster on it than the 450 and I never get tired!

Check your PM

Yes the new 450 has a light "knock" sound at idle. Some are slightly louder than others. There is no problem with the engine, and all 450 motors we have out there are still cranking with NO reported issues as of yet. :ride:
