I was wondering if anyone has tried the 1" Uni Filtered Air Vents in the XR650R airbox cover instead of just drilling open holes? Uni Filtered Air Vent

Seems like a good idea to prefilter the dirt (and maybe help keep water/rain out)? I am not sure if there is enough room in the airbox cover to do this, anybody out there already try it?

Thanks,
Frank

I've seen several bikes using the Uni filtered vents.

Good to know. Anyone have pictures or tips for installation? How many vents can fit on the sideplate easily?

Thanks,
Frank
