Fair price 2004 yz450?

Recommended Posts

I have come across a local guy who has a 2004 yz450 with only 2hrs on it (or so he says) still has the nubs on the tires, though. The bike looks like it just rolled out of the showroom and was taken for a trail ride (no scratches at all). He is asking $3600, what do you guys think?

Depends where you live. In washington state bikes resale seems pretty high. Avergae price is probably $4000 and most are advertised for $4500. I bought mine little over a month ago for $3500 which is the best deal i've seen yet. Sounds like you can't go wrong for that bike you are looking at.

BUY IT! Thats a good deal and it's a great bike. I just bought an '04 YZ450F for $3,000, but had a lot of hours on it. I had to replace the rear sprocket, clutch and soon after the top end. Now it's like new again. Luckily, all the work was easy and not too costly. Only $350.

I have a immaculant 2004 with very low hrs on it as well that I would sell for $3800 if anyone is interested and in Pa. I just bought it for my winter/woods bike as I have a 2006 as well but I want to get a rock hound for the track's so the 04 must go. The kid that owned it before me rode it to his buddies house down the road and back and that's it. Nice the paint is still on the frame rails and the only thing that it will need is a new chain as the stock chain is junk/stretched which happens in a few hrs of riding a new bike anyway. PM anyone if your interested and I have 2 places you can try it out. :ride:www.switchbackmx.com www.highvoltagemxpark.com
