trying to find out if a 2000 wr426 flywheel and stator fit a 98 yz400f

any help would be cool

I would say that since the 98 wr400f stator and flywheel will swap into a 2000 yz426f that the reverse of that would be the same result. You should be fine.

It may fit but.....
The CDI is different and you will have to either use a WR CDI or do the pink wire mod to the YZ CDI.
Also I think the ignition timing is different, the bike will run pretty good, 95% of performance but I think the stator holes have to be slotted and rotated to get full performance.
