max rpm -- 98 xr600r

thinking of getting an induction tach and want to know the max rpm. thanks in advance

XR650R is 8,200rpm. My guess is that they are similar but I don't really know.

The rev limiter kicks in at about 7500 +/- RPM on both the XR650L and XR600R.

The XR400R's is at 9500 RPM, the old YZ400's had an 11,400 RPM rev limiter, but I don't know if is is any different for the new YZ's
