Does the warranty void if the smog components have been removed?

Technically, yes on your engine. If the dealer is aware of it when you buy it, then it can be waived locally.

If you remove them carefully and store them safely then you have the chance of putting em back IF you ever need to get it back to the dealer (tough this are good bikes,it'll take some abuse to break them)then again you should just wait a few months before uncorcking it.just my opinion. :crazy:

It started to consume oil before I had the chance to remove the smog and before I installed the UNI filter. The mechanic said it is rare, however, happens.
