I need a new chain slider and glide block for my 2000 426 and was wondering if the one off a '05 125 is the same or not. I called the dealer here and they say part numbers are different but they look the same. They claim the change in part numbers could just be because of a change in material. I'm not sure. Anyone know?

You need to make sure it moulds to the swing arm properly. I bought a non genuine one but it chewed out in one ride.

The OEM one isn't that expensive.

I believe the holes are on different centers. Stay with the OEM, and if you have a problem with wear on the top of the swing arm, Try This Fix for it.
