SUnruh, ? about P-38

Recommended Posts

SUnruh,

I am cosidering the P-38 mod for my 01 426. How much of a difference did it make to your bike?? Do you think it is worth it or would the BK mod be a better choice?

Thanks in advance, Ernie

yzernie,

i have a yz250F, so i can't say WHAT it would do for a 426 since i've never owned one (i just race and usually beat them on the track). wink.gif

on my 250F it fixed the "bog". others with 250F's have said the same thing.

i also did the Brian Kinney (BK) mod to my carb for fun. it is a time consuming job that can take a while if you are going slowly. neither is better or worse, just different. the BK mod can be done for under $2 if you have a small tap. the P-38 is almost $80. time or money. you pick! wink.gif

Steve,

Do you have the websight for R&D and their P38?

I had it once, but have had no luck finding it again.

Thanks,

Kevin

SUnruh,

Sorry...my bad. I thought you have both a 250 and 426. I guess since both bikes have the same problem the P-38 would work on either for the problem. Thanks again for your time.
