I just bought a SFB chain guide and the plastic is pushing the chain way up on the sprocket. I have a 52 tooth rear sprocket. Could that be the problem. The ols owner had taken the stock one off. Any suggestions?

my guess is that the sproket is so big that the stock one wouldn't fit either. you should get a smaller rear and a smaller front if you like that gearing. or maybe someone make an oversized chain guide?

BTW welcome to TT
