I have a friend looking to raise his bars on an 01 426. Is there any way to put a riser on an applied clamp with Pro Taper bars?

Different risers (bar clamps) will fit on the top triple clamp. Try an applied +10 or +15mm, sized for the bars he's got.

You can use this type of bar risers on any clamps

The risers are placed between the fork crown and the handlebars to raise the bars, available in different heights for both 7/8 an 1-1/18 bars, also available as adapters changing your bar from 7/8 to 1-1/18. They usually come with longer mounting bolts too as pictured.
