October 13th Copperhead MX Track
In an unprecedented move Copperhead will have not just one or
two money classes, but FIVE (5) classes which will include not
one, not two but THREE AMATEUR classes! ONE OF THOSE CLASSES
WILL BE A MINICYCLE CLASS!
The norm is to turn the 125A and 250A classes into the classes
that race for money. Stepping back into the mid-1980's and
taking from Florida motocross, we have decided to run what we
call the "MONEY CLASS" and there will be the 125 Money and 250
Money classes. Why do it this way? Simple, this is not an "A, B,
C" class or age designated class. Are you a fast "B" rider and
want to race against guys like Matt Shue to see how fast you are
and possibly pick up the bigger purse? You can do it in this
class and still be a "B" rider or whatever your ranking might
be. Great idea…
To thank the Amateur riders for their support, we have decided
to run 3 classes that will pay money. The three classes chosen
are classes that we think will allow for the most riders to
compete for the prizes (money). Those classes are the:
1) +25 Class (any rider 25 or older)
2) Unlimited Amateur (any rider not considered an "A" "Expert"
or "Pro" rider)
3) Wild Card Class - Minicycles 50cc, 65cc, 85cc
The "Wild Card Class" will be a "Drawing" to see who gets the
shot at prize money. Any kids class with over 5 riders will
automatically be entered into the "Wild Card Class" and we will
draw to see which class will get to run for money - that
includes 50cc classes, 65cc classes, 80cc classes.
A RIDER CAN ONLY ENTER INTO TWO (2) PAYING CLASSES
Ready for the best part? Here is the payout!
125 & 250 MONEY CLASSES
1st $200, 2nd $125, 3rd $75, 4th $50, 5th $25 PER MOTO!
1st $60, 2nd $40, 3rd $30, 4th $20, 5th $15 PER MOTO!
That is a possible $800 dollar day for a rider that can sweep
both the 125 and 250 class!
That is a possible $240 dollar day for a rider that can sweep
two of the Amateur classes!
AGAIN - A RIDER CAN ONLY ENTER INTO TWO (2) PAYING CLASSES The
reason for this is so that you don't have a fast +25 rider
trying to sweep the entire day. Faster riders will go for the
big bucks and stay in their appropriate and faster classes ie:
There you have it. Saturday October 13th at Copperhead Motocross
Track in Blairsville Georgia! Be there.
UNFORTUNITLY: I cannot ride this weekend due to some problems that were found during my yearly Physical yesterday. Hopefully I'll be back in business after I see the Cardiologist. They think I may have an Artery Blockage. I think it's because I have been around GA426OWNER too much.
