Slide Height??

I have an 05 yzf450 and have the occasional hanging idle. Like others tried to jet it away, but to no avail. After searching and finding some info on slide height, I measured mine and it was a bit more open. The manual says 1.2mm or .051". I can get a 3/64 bit through there which is .078". The only place the manual talks about slide height is for the AP timer adjustment, which does nothing for the slide height.

Should I use the idle adjustment to obtain the correct slide height and then do AP timer based on the new slide height? Or am I missing something else.

Thanks in advance
