I'm installing the Yoshi cams that I got, I figured I would try them out. I went to the Suzuki stealership and they said it would be $435 to put the cams in!!!!! The only reason I asked was because I'm getting married and I don't really have time to do it myself. But $435    tripple eek!!!!
Are there any posts that someone can think of that may give me some reassurance about doing the job myself. I'm pretty handy with a wrench, so who can point me to a good bit of info or a walk through?
Also I was thinking of getting some new valve springs at the same time, so that I could try out the Yoshi 11k CDI that I got too, unless someone wants to buy it before I open the package  But I really would like to see how the S runs with the cams on. I have the FCR and RS3 and 3x3 but I'd like to see what it'd be like with the cams too.
Ultimately I'm going with a 94.5 BB and freewheelers +5mm stroker with some RHC 187 cams and a new set of 1 piece valves, but for right now I'd like to run the cams at least. Someone out there shoot me some info that I can digest about getting the cams in my bike.

So what's up with the rest? Is the price holding firm? Drop me a line cause I might just sell the Yoshi and get those 187's.

If you have a service manual it has a very good step by step description of what to do with pictures.

Yeah, I'm just wondering about the degreeing of the cams. I can break it down and put it back like stock, but I don't want to screw up the cam timing. That's really all I need help on. Like what tools will I need to use to check the valves and set the clearance, etc. Any info will help.

If they need degreeing, send the engine to Eddie, even with shipping it will be cheaper than the stealer.
