new bike

I just picked up my 01 wr 426 today. I cut 10 mm off the throttle restrictor. Should that give me full throttle? On the air box cover are you suppose to remove just the snorkel insert or the whole top cover? Any other info anybody could give me before my first ride would be appreciated.Thanks

Congrates dude! Great feeling isn't it?! Hope your in a place where it's warm enough to ride! I believe that will give you full travel, or at least as much as you should ever desire! As for the cover, take it all off snorkle & all. I have a 99 400, I had the timeing changed to YZ specs, that's where you'll really feel the difference. There's a couple other things you can do but those are the two biggies. May try a WB exhaust if you have the $$$ Enjoy!

How is your bike performing ?? I too have a new WR426. I'm anxious to get it to peak operating form. What have you done to your bike up to this point ??

boys, i believe this years 426 has a different front mastercylinder. can any of you compare it yet to the old one?

also, does the banjo bolt screw in from the front of the bike still?

all I have done to the bike is modify the throttle restrictor and removed the air box cover. Iam going riding this weekend Ill let you know how the bike performed
