Jetting issues again :( 400SM

Sup TT'ers!!
I have a 05 DRZ 400sm with Full yoshi, 3x3 mod, and the Dyno Jet kit. ( not the FMF SM kit ) Burned says go with a 155 MJ since the kit i have is not for the SM. I ordered a 155 and a 150 MJ. MY main ? is where should I put the clip and where should i start on the Airscrew??
I ALSO cut 5 1.5inch holes in the air box cover and that mad a nice difference. The bike pops a little more than it use too? AM i too lean or rich? Will i need to use a bigger MJ since i opened up the air box even more??

what pilot jet?where is your fuel screw set?

25 pilot, 2.75 turns out on fuel screw
Im running the stock 142.5 MJ

try going to 3 turns fuel screw to minimize the pop.

i tried that and it seems to smell more like gas and pop more the more i turn it out? Ill try some more turns out and we will see? anything else?
