I have installed a YZ426 flywheel/stator and CDI on my WR supermoto, it bolts right on and runs but it doesn't build revs quickly. Apparently I have to put slots in the stator bolt holes to rotate the YZ stator to advance the timing to the correct position. Has anyone else done this? I have searched the forum but I haven't found anything.

It's hard to believe that no-one has done this modification, a couple of different mechanics/tuners suggested that I make this change for quicker throttle response.
