That aint bad. Old school air cooled 250s like XRs, TT-Rs, and DR-Zsweigh about that much wet.

Naw, 270 with gas/oil armor is about right. XR 400s are a different story, they gotta be 300+

A crf250x weighs a claimed 116kg fluids, no fuel. That is 255lbs. By the time you add 8.3 litres of fuel, that weight goes up to about your 270lbs. A crf-250x is lighter than a xr250.

We still get the TT-R 250 here in Aust, it weighs a claimed 120kgs DRY! that is 264lbs no fluids or fuel, they got a 10 litre tank too. Total weight would be around 290 - 300 lbs.

I would have to say that the xr250 and the tt-r250 would weigh the same.

Plus you know what manufacturers claimed weights are like!

At the end of the day bikes should be around 200lbs. That would be sweet indeed!

I'm not sure but I can say with authority my WR450 is a HECK of a lot lighter than the BRP I just sold! : )
