1978 yz400 problem carb.

i'm working on this 78 yz 400. The bike sounds and runs like a champ but it slowly drips out of the overflow tube. help. whats up with this?

This should be posted in the Yamaha 2-Stroke forum, not in the YZF400 forum.

But, what you have is a worn and/or dirty float needle and seat. Try cleaning it, then replace it.

Buy a new needle and seat assy and check the float height. Thanks Mark
