Does it go with the concave facing inward or out? Should it look like a 'dome' or 'bowl' when looking into the clutch basket?
All I have is the 2000 manual and it's not a native part that year.

Concave facing out. It matters because putting it in that way assures the edge that contacts the first steel plate is larger than the inside diameter of the plate, so that it can't wedge part way under the plate. It gets better contact that way, and won't try to bend the teeth of the plate, either.
