Pricing.. how much did you pay out the door?

Recommended Posts

Hahm Motorsports in Anaheim was advertising in Cycle Trader that they will beat any advertised price by $50.00. I know from experience (when I bought my 2006 wr450 two months ago) that they will make good on that. Its an easy, no haggle deal. LA Yamaha's price was 6,599 and I paid 6549. So the price has come down $100. That will pay for your AIS removal kit, etc.

Bottom line is that LA Yamaha's price is a fair price. I like them because they don't make you go through all the haggling and they don't try to charge you for freight, set-up, etc. If you search all over, what are you going to save, another hundred at the most? So at $6,499, either you are a buyer or not. If you are, then go to LA, or go to Hahm, whoever is closest, and git 'er done! You are gonna be having so much fun on this bike that you won't care about an extra $100 bucks more or less.

Just bought a 05 with a Baja Kit installed for 6 without tax and license. It was the last 05 around my area, and the kit was already installed. They did not move at all, but price was at the lower end of what I have found. ?

Once I finally choose the WR450F over the CRF450X.

I shopped dealers within a 4 hr haul.

Since I have to pay PA taxes to title in PA and I was willing to go out of state I had everyone start with a pre tax price.

Pa has 6 percent and a $22.50 title fee.

The best pretax and title price I found was $5895.00 (4 hr one way trip)

After working with my local dealer who I prefer to deal with he gave me o6 WR450F for a pretax price of 6094.00 and 20% discount riding gear.

In the end with PA tax and title that is $6,500 OTD.

To be honest I wanted to but from him for a few reasons.

He's within 10 min from home.

I'll likely order and buy more from him because he is local.

I live in a area that would be considered 'depressed' most longtime employeement opportunities are gone . If I can get a decent deal and pump $$ back into my local economy I'll choose that first. It does need to be a good deal though and I thought he gave me one.

I also make it pretty clear that I am a serious buyer and I prefer to keep the deal local. I do the same with cars, furniture or anything that has a 'fuzzy' sticker price.

OK guys ... $10,900 (Australian) for my '05WR450F(T) - Fully road registered and insured, all free mods done, c/w metal-lined Blue handguards. And that's a pretty fair price here in Aus. All i needed to do was add a GYT-R pipe and do the grey wire mod ... I paid that price in October '05 and i already have 1,989klm of great memories on the clock as of last night's ride !!

04' - $5,300 otd or actually at the canadian border from their truck into mine, in the crate. Canadian model, no throttle stop or grey wire ?

Int'l M/C Brokers.

He, we may have crossed paths almost! Also an 04 WR450 from Zach, $5399, plus $200 to ship to Federal Way, then another $527 in sales tax/road plating, plate and tabs. So I'm at $6126 total when it was all said and done.
