Is thre any benefit to replacing the foam filter with a hi-flow one like a K&N?

I believe the best filters are still the oiled foam filters. Alot of guys are saying that the K&N filters let too much fine fine dust particles through. So stick to the normal foam style filters. Most people are using the Twinair filters ?
