I just got my new 06 YZ450F and everyone was right, the jetting is way to lean. I installed the 170 main but when I removed the old pilot jet I noticed that it is about .187" longer then the new 45 pilot jet, is this normal or did they give me the wrong jet?. I checked all the bearings for grease and everything was fine. The only problem I found with the bike was that the filter had zero oil. I plan on heading to the indoor track Tuesday to break her in so any info is welcome.

Yes, take it back. The replacement jets should look just like the stock jets. The only difference should be the size of the hole in the jet. Hope this helps.
