I am just wondering if anyone has used a Pro-X connecting rod in a 426 rebuild or anything else?
Falicon does not make a knife rod for the 426 and they never have, Glen at Falicon tells me the 426 did not have that weak of a rod stock but that some guys had popped the top off the rod over revving the bike.
He went on to say that not nearly as many 426 rods failed as he has seen on the 450's (Yamaha) but I am considering stroking this motor so I need a stronger than stock rod almost certainly.
I know SFO who used to post here a lot did a stroked big bore 426 back in the day but I cant recall if he went with a new OEM rod on his rebuild?
Glen was the one that told me about Pro-X but I wanted to know if anyone else has used them in the past, recently? anytime?
Thanks,
Scream

When I was in the bike biz in the 90's I sold/installed a bunch , all 2 stroke . No problems at all with any of them........
