does the HRC kit for the XR600 retain the auto decomp?

this is for a 600R not 650R

(the 628cc upgrade)

Had my 600 done and it ran great in the open desert but it sucked when it came to slow tight stuff. Do the kit but leave out the high compression piston.You won't believe the difference in the way 3rd and 4th gear rev and the increase in power.

thanks XR4 but I ask in context of fitting electric start to the 600.

if the auto decomp is still on there I wont have to pull in the manual decomp.

sounds like the auto decomp removal leads to some perfromance gains?

Where did you find a Honda HRC 628 kit?I heard they were hard to get now.
