Anyone Know How To Identify Whether My 426 Is A 2002 (as I Was Told) .

Subframe should be aluminum...not painted blue.

10th digit in the serial number will be either a 0, 1 or 2, and that's the year frame you have at least.

I think the swinging arm spindle is thicker on the 02.The length of shock is different too.There are posts on here about it.Try a search.

10th digit in the serial number will be either a 0, 1 or 2, and that's the year frame you have at least.

That does'nt work in the UK.Not on my 02 426 anyway.

This is the most recognizable difference between the '01 and '02.
