Do they really help? I mean, are they performing better than the stocker?

I put a DR. D on mine. One of the biggest reasons is it was here, and I needed a SA and a quiet core to ride public lands. It does reduce sound quite a bit, but I havent had it tested yet. Power seems a little better on low end, but quite honestly I only had one ride on the stocker, so it was hard to tell. It seems to me it retains alot more power with the quiet core in than some other systems I have tried and definately more so than my buddies E2. The dealership put a FMF full mega bomb system on their race bike. They said it makes lots more power than stock and a little more than the DR. D. For half the money of the FMF, I went with the DR.
