Valve Cover

Hi I want to check valve clearances on my 03 WR450 in the next few days. The manual says to remove the carb and the top engine mount. what has to be removed to get the valve cover off Cheers Doug :thumbsup:

You can leave the carb on. You will need though is a small torque wrench if you need to adjust the valves to get in between the frame and the head. I have one that is a 1/4 inch SAE drive and it works well. Good luck.

You have to remove the mount, but the carb should stay on.

:thumbsup: Just undo the top 2 bolts, this is to give you enough room to get the cover off!
