Just did some mid-winter cleaning on my YZF. I took off all the stickers that came on it and put on a few coats of Son of a Gun. The pictures don't really do it justice. It looks better than when I got it. I know what you're gonna say. Get it dirty!! Well it will soon enough as it's been raining here and I'm going riding on some trails Saturday if all works out. But when you can't ride, might as well make her purdy  .

Looks good! I seen a compression release, you haven't done the 450 DCM yet?

Nope, not yet. I don't have any extra money laying around to do it at the moment. It's in the works though.

I've seen that bike posted a few times. I love your color contrast. That graphics kit is awesome. I love those blue ignition and clutch covers and rims. I really want to get black back fender and sidepanels and get the Factory FX Evo2 graphics kit. I think that would be an awesome color fade.

I ride at Cross Creek most of the time. I've been wanting to try out Del Valle, 3 Palms, and Cycle Ranch. I'm new to the whole motocross scene. I joined an MX club in Waco (cuz they had their own track and good rates) January of last year and I've been riding track ever since. I do trails every now and then. That's my Dad's forte. We usually go to Crooked Creek or Muenster for that. Last time my dad went to Muenster, he ended up riding some of the Last Man Standing trails and he came back battered and bruised lol.

Looks great...I am doing the same thing with my 00 426. I just ordered a DR.D system. What did you use to polish your rims? My just look dull no matter what I use.

Rims dont really polish up, they have a clear annodized coating. Polishing only works when the metal is raw.

I just put a couple of coats of Son of a Gun on them. They don't really shine, they just don't look as dull. I had never cleaned the bike like this before so it looks pretty good. AND my finace just ordered me some N-Style tank and shroud graphics for Valentine's Day. Kick ass
