06 YZ 450 question

Has anyone removed the clutch basket cover on the 450? I took mine off last night to polish the rest of the cover and no oil came out? This is my first 4 stroke.Is this normal not to have a pool of oil in the cluch area? How do the cluches get oil? Should I be a little worried about this?

While I'm not sure on this one I "think"there is a separate oil tank in the front bottom of the engine.As far as no oil in the cases I would think it all drained back into the tank if it had not been started for a while.I have not done anything to mine but change the oil and filters so I'm not sure!! ?

The Yamaha is a dry sump, the oil is in the oil tank, the Honda is more like a two smoke.
