Can someone help me out please, my mate has a 94 xr600 and the bike stand support that is welded to the frame has cracked away from the frame and needs welding back into place. My question is, do you need to disconnect anything in the electrical dept or motor before welding the frame. I know with cars you should always disconnect the battery, the bike does not have a battery just concerned that there is something else that may be fried if I weld the frame.
