Search: The sexiest WR out there...

I put this headlight on mine to get rid of the boring square one, plus the lenses are tinted blue!! acerbis offers a few different styles and colors, they are pretty slick and easy to install. the look great in the end and are really bright.

Do you have any pics with that light mounted up? Id be interested in hearing about the illumination difference.

Well its still pretty sexy, so i guess youre okay. But tell me, how much did you drop on those rims? those are sick lookin ?

Thanks man, I only have about $300 in the rims. I laced them myself so that saved me some money. The hubs and spokes are stock.

Toy, how does that stuff work on red clay, do you know?

Hey, I ride in red clay also. It works great. I swear by the stuff now. I stumbled upon it about a year ago, bought one of the small bottles, sat around in the garage for about 6 months and one day I said "I'm going to try it" and that was all it took. As soon as you spray this on, the dirt starts to run off, looks like its melting away. A rinse and its shiny new. Wheels and spokes come out spotless. (this is an area thats hard to make look clean IMHO) As for the other poster, any Suzuki dealer has it. Now be careful, they also have ATV wash and I was told it doesnt work quite as well, not sure what the difference is. I challenge anyone to try this stuff and report back with your findings.

I'm learning something looking at all these pics...the guys with cool looking clean bikes also have tidy garages! There must be a correlation.

Meanwhile my very normal looking WR sits in my cluttered garage with last weekends mud still on it... ?

I am thinking of putting a yz number plate on and then making a bracket out of stainless, then mounting up a set of lazer lights. Has anybody ever scene a wr with a set of lazer lights mounted and will the stock wiring support the amps?

A little different of a look but I was going for a sort of street stealth look. Its a 99 wr400 and street legal in California. It currently has a computer, frame guards, oversize tank, baja designs street legal kit with updated push to cancel turnsignal system (a must have for streeters), mirror, carbon fiber front and read blinkers, baja skid plate, renthal bars and grips, hand guards, yz soft seat, oil drain tube relocated with a breather next to the dip stick (no more leaking and water tight crankcase) yz timing, yz cam set up, grey wire mod, yz throttle mod, stock pipe mod etc. Soon to be added. HID headlight, maxxis desert IT's, new MX style rear fender LED light set up, GPS, roll chart and some others. I left the frame blue on purpose, encase anyone had a question!!!! I want to start running in district 37 desert races soon.

Any thaughts on the look??? ??:bonk:

Here are a few pics, the picture doesn't really show the blue illumination but u can see it in person, and it's a lot more noticable at night. It has three bulbs for some reason too, but you could leave the farthest light on the left unhooked if u wanted, I just wired it up so i dont have wires dangling around. hope u guys like it, i think it's a lot better looking than stock ?

I love the black plastics. thats one look that I have been seriously considering, I like the sleek look of all black. the only two thoughts i have, are the tank and seat. i would personally prefer a black tank just to keep it sleek and smooth. then the seat looks a little too cushy almost. but ill bet that thing is comfy:) but the bike looks great man, a fine addition to the thread.

Thanks, the seat is a IMS CEET for a YZ, full gripper. I still have to wear a pad or I will get monkey butt. I dont think they will ever make a seat soft enough for my lazy ass!!! Depending on the year, its very hard to get the full black plastic kits. Almost always especially for the 99, you have to mix and match companies to get it all in black. I think I may add a full graphics kit over the black... I dont know yet.
