Are there Any online KX100 manuals --i dont have one and my son came back the other day with a slight rattle in what seems like the engine, but it starts first kick and seems to run ok, but definite rattle that wasnt there before.

i was looking for manual to do some preliminary research to find the problem.

oh yes it occured within 30 minutes of him upgrading to a Irridium plug, but after changing back to a NGK its still there.

any ideas please let me hear them?

Is it a real louyd rattle? If so this happened to my 85. Well there this big peice inside the motor, and its about a $150 part. Well if you take the right side cover off, and take everything off, until you get to the part. I belive its kind of like a triangle. Well theres going to be I belive 18 little balls in that peice if theres not, then theres some missing, and their more than likely somewhere on that side of the engine. You might want to drain the gas, and oil just for a side note. But if theres any balls missing from that make sure you find them, and then I guess you should take it to your local Kawi dealer, and tell them you need to order that part. Because I don't belive theres a way to fix it....AHHH yes I think I remember what its called. The power valve? I belive thats it. But if I can find out anymore info I'll let you know. Hope this helps. Thanks
