I just bought a 2000 yzf426. The engine is great but the bike needs some help in the looks department. Does anyone have any tricks to polishing the rims. I tried Mothers and it did not work.

Try mothers with a dremel tool with a polishing attachment.

A brillo pad works pretty good but will eventually wear off the excell lettering, if its not gone allready.

In the amount of time it takes to polish the wheels, you could just lace up another set.
