Looking at 01 426 tommorow and wondering what range it should be in? No top end work done to bike according to seller.

TIA

Joe

If it's still a manual deompression engine, it should be in the brutal range.

About 175-200 psi. Standing on the crank should support a 180 guy for several seconds. If he's done the '03 cam modification (the auto decompression cam from a 450) it will be more like 105-120 at cranking speeds.
