I didn't see it mentioned, but I happen to think that the cheapest and most performace gain for the money is the Oversize front Rotor.
I put it on my '06 before I ever rode it. Once you go Oversize you can't go back.
I get on a MX bike with a stock Rotor and I find myself pulling the lever back to the grip coming into corners.

Hey Jason, how much are oversized rotors? Also what brand are you using? Thanks i have been thinking about getting one, would be nice to be able to slow down a bit faster.
