I'm thinking about picking up a used '01 YZ 426. What's the low down on this bike? I'm looking for the good and the bad, and maybe what to look for when buying used.

Thanks!
Brian

The 2001 was a great bike. Frequent oil changes and a clean air filter makes the YZF's last forever. Make sure it has had the proper maintance done before you buy.

He says it's got a cam mod, this is probably the exhaust cam for making starting easier? On on a scale of a 250 2t to a 500 2t, how hard are these things to start?

They kick over like a 250 2 stroke.
