Stripped (overtightened) bolt on radiator shroud

I was tightening one of the bolts on the radiator shroud, and I guess I overtightened it. It will turn, but not come out, so I guess the metal part is spinning in the gas tank wall.

Has anyone else done this? What is the best course of action?

Try prying slightly outward while you loosen the screw. Hopefully it will unscrew and then you can glue the wellnut back into place.

I had the same thing happen on a 426 and never could get it off. When I got the 450 I put anti-sieze on the shroud screws right away in hopes to prevent that from happening again.
