Ever have trouble keeping the crank from moving when checking valve clearance or installing cams? Here's a simple tool I made from a 14mm, 1.50 bolt that you can thread into the inspection hole after you have the crank on TDC. This lets you set up the cams without worrying about the crank moving and screwing up the timing.

You have to sharpen the tip of the bolt with a grinder so it doesn't move the crank when you tighten it down. Doesn't need to be too tight, hand tight is fine - don't want to bend the crank/flywheel.
