Does anyone have pictures of their WR's with an Acerbis tank that they can post here? I think Dan Lorenze had some pictures but they're no longer available to view. I'm thinking of going with the Acerbis tank and wanted to see how much higher it sat than the IMS tank.

Seems to be the only problem!

I am going to get GYT-R (acerbis) tank too. Stock tank doesn't last long at all. What happened to the tank sizes like the 426's? Too many short people must have complained about ergo's! My friend has the 28L one, that is just plain rediculous!

I read your IMS tank post, I will stay clear of that one for sure.

They show up on EBay rather frequently for around $50 shipped. They're called the "Corp Kit" and were originally for an 03-05 YZ450F, but they worked great on my WR. I'm gonna get another set when they show up again..SC

The ergos are fine, it fits just like the stocker, so no issues there. I did change the fuel line and tee for something a little higher quality. I had to tighten the fittings throughout the fill cap area as I had a little leakage early on, but none after that. I'd also like a little stouter main petcock setup, like Zip-Ty offers. Honestly though, these are very nit-picky complaints. I really like the tank and would do it over again without hesitation :applause: ...SC

Here is another. I had the same problem as Clark, leakage around filler cap. No problem since I tightened it.

Here's the tank in Blue. This was purchased from my local dealer as a GYT-R product (don't mind the Acerbis sticker).

Nice! I will definately have to make the jump to a bigger tank. The stocker only gets me about 100kms (60 mile) at best. The only problem is they just cost about $450 down here.........

Thanks to everyone that posted their pictures. :applause: I noticed that the Acerbis gas cap sits quite a bit higher than the IMS or the stocker. When the tank is above 3/4 full with gas is there any noticeable affect with cornering/ handling?

I don't notice anything, but then again, I had the the Acerbis tank on before I even started to ride it. The stocker was sold on eBay the day I bought the bike so I didn't have a comparison...SC

The IMS tank sits much flatter on top, at least on my 06. The Acerbies looks a little bit like a nut crusher.
