Yes, they do work as advertised, I was amazed in the difference. It won't help you if your jetting isn't close, the people I've seen that are disappointed have a bike the ran like crap before the Quick Shot.

Im running one on my 06 YZ450F - never even started it before i put it on. I believe in this product, and perhaps i could do the same thing cheaper with a different leak jet or whatever, but it's easier - IMO - to just bolt on the Boyesen.

i disagree... this place is the most "use the search" attitude having forum I'm a member of, but at the same time I see a lot of repetitive questions asked...so thats cool, but what aggravates me is when people DO search then reply to a thread thats a bit old and someone gives the person grief for bringing an old thread back

You don't have to click or read a thread you know is repetitive, do you? Or maybe some people like having something to complain about or something?

Unbelievable!! "Do a search" or actually providing a link is a legitimate response to newcomers, especially if the topic has been thoroughly discussed in the recent past.

If you are so into the forum rules and ettiquite why, then, do you post for-sale threads in areas besides the for-sale forum? Seems to me the rules are very clear on this:

7. Do not post a reference to your item for sale in the for sale forums in the bike specific forums. If someone is interested in your year/make/model bike or part, they know where they are listed on TT. For sale references posted to the wrong forum(s) will be deleted.

It sure seems that you are supportive of a standard except when it applies to you. Some people might call you a hypocrite...

Anyone know how how it has helped the 06 YZ450F? Mine is not broke in yet but am considering ordering one? Think we need more power? Impact at low end?

I believe that is an $80 waste of money when you can properly tune your carb for next to free and not need the damned thing.

And yeah, you could have done a search and gotten much more info for all the aggravation you are experiencing.

IMO you don't really need it, I've had one for my bike before it showed up and haven't put it on yet, I wanted a baseline for performance and it just plain rips stock. 2 hours on bike, riding indoor moto where you need it to rip to clear jumps out of corners. No bog or hesitation, I really can't imagine it being any better. I'll try it anyway and see if I notice a change.

Try wiring the accelerator pump actuator to the adjusting screw it will improve throttle response.
