My family are coming to socal in Febuary from the 10th-24th and are trying to figure out what track's we are going to try out. So far we have, cahuilla creek, lake elsinore, perris raceway, comp edge mx park, piru mx, starwest mx, racetown 395, and gorman. We just got a fifth wheel gearbox trailer :applause: so with that we are looking for some sort of a campground to drop that at and then head out on day trips, etc. Can someone give me some info on the above tracks(if there anygood, which ones are the best?) and any sort of advice that you can give to us to make our trip more enjoyable. Thanks
Going on a trip, advice needed please.

I just made a similar recommendation for another post in this forum.
Go to www.proride.com for SoCal mx advice.

Supercross is at San Diego that weekend. You could stay at Campland by the Bay and day trip out but it's about an 1 to 1 1/2 hours to the tracks. Nice CG on Mission Bay. Weather should be pretty nice that time of year.

As far as Gorman is concerned, you can camp there in one of the many campsites (primitive) and ride to the I-5 MX track from within the park. That way you can enjoy the many trails of Gorman and the MX track without having to pick up and move the trailer. Of course, the $20 fee to ride the MX track is not included in the Gorman entry/camping fee.
