It was a awesome day guys, what a awesome trip. I had so much fun. That was the best ride I had been on in a long time, hope I can call all you guys again to go riding. And yes that forest trail was gnarly, but I am guessing, the fog, and zero visability going up it didn't help, so maybe that's why it was so bad. going back down, wasn't bad at all, except for that one switch back that snuck up on me, haha. I just want to say thanks for everyone that showed up, again it was awesome meeting new people.

I am pretty sore today, but it's a good sore. I couldn't of asked for a better last ride for the year.

Hey jeff, unfortuneatley I cannot make the ocatillo trip, I'm getting my tonsils out the end of this week, so I am sure I will be out of commission for a few days, wich puts the trip till next time.

I hope everything is okay Helibuf.

Man kieth I could of passed you at any moment, I was just taking it easy. I didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable, I just wanted to stay as a group.

My bike just wasnt running right, and my suspension wasn't set up, I had a big breakfast, I didn't want to burn up too much fuel, I need new tires, My new boots weren't broke in yet, and my wife was calling on the phone.

But other than that I was on your a$$ all day. :applause:

Nothing major just time consuming. Trying to get through Santa Clarita basically sucks these days. I should have just driven down to the 5 then backup, but hind sight is 20/20 now. Glad to hear every one had fun, I’m really sorry I missed it now.

We started to go out the back of Upper Scrub, but snowboards bike kept cutting out. So we went Roadrunner up to Edison then behind Edison... back down rattler then over to Schmidt to go to Tataviam but it was closed. We went back through Smith Forks across the wash to Backbone then over Vics cat trail to Badlands then Upper Brome then back to staging for some grub, staged at Upper Scrub ... after some food snowborad left he was cold.... i, luckly brought another jacket...
We then went to Sterling canyon through to East Fraiser went to the top looked at the clouds and turned around and came back.....the part that i thought was strange, we saw more riders on the forest trail then riding in HV its-self or so at least it seemed..... all in all it was a good day with the exception of a broken number plate ( hoss350) and some weeds stuck in snowboards visor, and at times it was butt cold.
We went about 30 miles...met some cool people, and rode... what more could you ask for!!!

I went sorta the other way through the forest and it ended up being nice, even almost warm for a bit. We headed up Tejon and took it all the way to Long Dave Trail (thought it was still closed, but not marked as such and the MC gate was open at the other end) then up West Frazier Mine to West Frazier Tie. Didnt even stop at the top (little windy) and high-tailed it for East Frazier Trail and took that back to Sterling. It was pretty chilly on East Frazier, but I got a few shots of a great view of the top of the cloud cover.
